  • Breath Of The Ancients is an online Qigong subscription program. Qigong is an ancient Chinese healing modality consisting of breathing techniques and slow movements while incorporating energy work. BOTA is founded and taught by Medicine Woman and Qigong Master, Vasiliki.

  • The Qigong practice greatly focuses on the power of breath. The name Breath Of The Ancients refers to this ancient breathwork practice. A dragon, a Chinese symbol for strength and health, was a desired symbol to the client.

  • Breath can be a tricky concept to communicate, to overcome this I took a stylized approach inspired by smoke. I wanted the dragon of breath to create a feeling of flow and movement, as Qigong is a flow-full movement-based practice in addition to the breathwork. I also created a customized font intended to be welcoming, yet dynamic and attention-grabbing.

BOTA provides an ancient practice through modern resources. They are one of the first to make Qigong a more accessible wellness tool. This branding design called for homage to the historical roots while giving a youthful and exciting tone.
